Fergal Devitt is a professional wrestler, currently signed to WWE and working in their developmental territory NXT, under the rind name Finn Bálor.

Whilst with NXT, he won the NXT Championship, and held the title for 292 days, the longest reign in the promotions history.

Before arriving in NXT, Devitt was best known for his work in New Japan Pro Wrestling, where he was known as Prince Devitt. With NJPW, he won the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship on three occasions, and the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Championship six times.

He was also a founding member of the popular Bullet Club, along with Karl Anderson, Tama Tonga and Bad Luck Fale.

He has also wrestled for several independent promotions all over the world, and co-founded NWA Ireland alongside Paul Tracey.

Personal Life

Fergal Devitt was born in Bray, County Wicklow, Ireland.

When he was younger, he played both football and Gaelic football before deciding to pursue a career in professional wrestling.

He is a first degree black belt in IBF submission wrestling.

Devitt cites The British Bulldogs, Shawn Michaels, Rick Rude, Mr. Perfect, Koko B. Ware and Savio Vega as his favorite wrestlers growing up, and is close friends with fellow professional wrestler Dru Onyx.

Outside of wrestling, Devitt is a collector of Lego, and an avid comic book reader, his face and body paint is often inspired by his favorite comic book characters.

He supports Tottenham Hotspur Football Club.
