William Scott Goldberg is a former professional football player, actor and professional wrestler, currently working with WWE under the ring name Goldberg.

He is best remembered for his run with World Championship Wrestling between 1997 and 2001, where he held an undefeated streak recorded at 173-0.

He is a two-time world champion, having won the WCW World Heavyweight Championship and the World Heavyweight Championship. He is also a two-time WCW United States Champion and a one-time WCW World Tag Team Champion, which he held alongside Bret ‘The Hitman’ Hart.

Before becoming a professional wrestler, Goldberg played professional football, where he played Defensive Tackle for the Los Angeles Rams, Sacramento Surge, Sacramento Gold Miners, Atlanta Falcons and the Carolina Panthers.

After his retirement from wrestling, Goldberg worked as a commentator for MMA promotion EliteXC.

He has also hosted 26 episodes of DIY Network show, Garage Mahal.

Personal Life

Bill Goldberg was born and raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He had his bar mitzvah at Temple Israel, and graduated from Tulsa Edison High School.

At the age of 16, he worked as a bouncer.

On April 10, 2005, Goldberg and Wanda Ferraton were married, together, they have one son, named Gage.

Goldberg is the co-owner of the Extreme Power Gym, a Muay Thai and amateur boxing training facility in Oceanside, California. He is also a car-lover, owning 25 vintage cars.
