Amy Christine Dumas is a retired professional wrestler and singer, best remembered for her run with WWE, under the ring name Lita.

She is currently working for WWE in the role of an on-screen analyst, panel member and occasional interviewer.

She was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2014.

Before arriving in WWE, Dumas worked briefly on the independent circuit, as well as with Extreme Championship Wrestling.

She originally appeared in WWE along side Essa Rios, but was soon paired with The Hardy Boyz, to form Team Xtreme.

She is a four time WWE Women’s Champion, and one of the most popular women in the history of WWE.

Upon her retirement from wrestling in 2006, she formed a punk rock band, named The Luchagors.

Personal Life

Amy Dumas attended several different schools throughout her childhood, and graduated from Lassiter High School. She then majored in education at Georgia State University, but dropped out in 1993.

She is an animal lover, and in 2003, she founded A.D.O.R.E. (Amy Dumas Operation Rescue and Education) an animal charity.

She remains close friends with former WWE star Trish Stratus, and is the godmother of Stratus’ son, Maximus.

In 1999, Dumas began dating fellow Team Xtreme member Matt Hardy, however it was revealed in 2005, that Dumas had been romantically involved with Adam Copeland, better known as Edge, whilst still in a relationship with Hardy, who, at the time, was at home recovering from a knee injury. This was eventually incorporated into a storyline within WWE.

Dumas also dated Shane Morton from 2006 to 2008, and was in a relationship with CM Punk in 2009.

It was reported in 2013, that she and CM Punk were back together, although they broke up later that year.

On December 9, 2011, Dumas was arrested for speeding and driving with a suspended license in Georgia.
