Cassie McIntosh is a model and professional wrestler, currently working in NXT under the ring name Peyton Royce.

Before her arrival in NXT, McIntosh worked on the independent circuit, under the ring name KC Cassidy, where she is a one-time PWA Women’s Champion.

She signed with WWE in 2015, and has been performing on their developmental territory NXT, and training at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida

Personal Life

Cassie McIntosh was born in Sydney, New South Wales and later moved to Melbourne, Victoria, before re-locating to Calgary, Alberta, Canada to train with Lance Storm. Before getting into wrestling, she was an excellent dancer. She also attended the same high school as fellow NXT wrestler, Jessie McKay. She began watching wrestling at the age of 9 and cites Eddie Guerrero as being her inspiration.

Independent Circuit (2009-2015)

On February 28th 2008, McIntosh made her professional wrestling debut for Pro Wrestling Women’s Alliance, under the ring-name, KC Cassidy. She teamed with Robbie Eagles to defeat Madison Eagles and Mike Valuable. Over the next year, she feuded with Jessie McKay, with the pair trading victories with each other.

On January 7th, 2011, she unsuccessfully challenged Madison Eagles for the PWWA Championship.

She made two appearances for Shimmer Women Athletes, where she teamed up with Bambi Hall.

She also worked dates for Pro Wrestling Alliance Australia, Melbourne City Wrestling, River City Wrestling and New Horizons Pro Wrestling.

NXT (2015-Present)

In August 2014, during a WWE tour of Australia, McIntosh received a tryout with the company.

On April 13th, 2015, she was announced as a part of the new NXT class of trainees. She made her televised debut for the company on the May 15th episode of NXT, when she was defeated by NXT Women’s Champion, Sasha Banks. On the July 22nd episode of NXT, she was defeated by Eva Marie.

On August 7th, McIntosh was given the new ring-name, Peyton Royce.

Peyton Royce spent the most of her matches working as a babyface, but on the 9th December episode of NXT, she faced NXT Women’s Champion, Bayley in a non-title match, and worked the match as a heel. Bayley won the match.

On January 13th, Peyton Royce debuted a new gimmick during a battle royal to determine the new number one contender for the NXT Women’s championship. The match was won by Carmella.

She then took a hiatus from televised action, returning on May 18, where she was defeated by Carmella.

This was followed by another hiatus, before she returned on October 5, at the side of her new ally, Billie Kay.
