NEW CHAMPION: Daniel Bryan won his first Intercontinental championship after a series of back and forth headbutts on top of the ladder resulted in Dolph Ziggler falling to the mat, allowing Bryan to claim the title.
Triple H defeated Sting via pinfall after using the sledgehammer. This was Sting‘s first ever match in WWE. The match also featured cameo’s from D-Generation X (Road Dogg, Billy Gunn & X-Pac) and the NWO (Hollywood Hogan, Scott Hall & Kevin Nash) plus Shawn Michaels. After the match Sting and Triple H shook hands in the middle of the ring.
Backstage, Daniel Bryan was interviewed by Maria Menounos. As he celebrated his Intercontinental championship victory he was joined by Pat Patterson, Roddy Piper, Bret Hart, Ric Flair and Ricky Steamboat. The group began a yes chant until Ron Simmons interrupted with his trademark “Damn!”

The Hall of Fame class of 2015 were introduced to the crowd. This years inductees were:
The Authority (Triple H & Stephanie McMahon) came to the ring to announce that the crowd inside Levi’s stadium had broken an attendance record. Then they began to gloat about Triple H‘s earlier victory over Sting. This caused The Rock to hit the ring. Stephanie slapped The Rock and taunted him that he wouldn’t do anything to her because he’d never hit a woman. The Rock brought in UFC Women’s Bantamweight champion ‘Rowdy’ Ronda Rousey to the ring. After a verbal back and forth, Rousey threw both Triple H and Stephanie out of the ring.
NEW CHAMPION: With both men down, Seth Rollins cashed in his Money in the Bank briefcase to make the match a triple threat match. Reigns hit Lesnar with a spear only to find himself on the receiving end of Rollins‘ Curb-Stomp. With Lesnar out of the ring, Rollins pinned Reigns to become the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion.
